1st stop is Beirut city: Beirut is the capital of Lebanon. It is known by the “Paris” of the Middle east. The city is located in the middle of the country, on the coastal line, connected to all other cities in Lebanon. You can just stay in Beirut, and visit different cities from Beirut each day. Beirut is the city of a perfect weekend break, mixing sun, sea, sightseeing, food and nightlife. The main attractions to visit in Beirut are:
Marty’s square, Downtown, Mohammad el Amin Mosque, Pigeon Rocks, Zaytouna Bay, National museum, Roman baths, etc…
2nd stop is Deir el Qamar village: Deir El Qamar, also known as the convent of the moon, is an old village located in the Chouf region, consisting of stone houses with red tiled roof. Enjoy the great panoramic views and fresh air. Explore the square of Deir el Qamar as well as the beautifully restored Christian church, municipal building (Turkish Architecture) and old Emir palace.
Then we will stop at a local restaurant in the region for lunch.
After lunch,
3rd stop: Beiteddine Village: Located in the mountains of Lebanon, in the Chouf area, Beiteddine Palace was owned by the emirs of the Chehab family that ruled over the Chouf region in the 19th century. The Emirs Palace is still standing perfectly until today. It is the symbol of the Lebanese architecture. The Palace has stunning architecture and is surrounded by breathtaking views. It is hosting a large collection of Mosaïc. It is well maintained, with majestic rooms and former stables. This is definitely a palace with an eye for ‘grandeur’ that was shown during the era when they ruled over the region.
Then we will get back to Beirut, and drop you off at your hotel.
