Jeita Grotto, Byblos

The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel in Beirut, on any place of residence within Beirut city.

1st stop is Jeita Grotto: Discover one of the most impressive and interesting natural sites, listed among the Seven Wonders of the World.
Jeita Grotto is located north of Beirut on the slopes of Mount Lebanon. One of Lebanon’s most unusual tourist attractions, an enormous cavern festooned with every shape and size of stalactite and stalagmite. It is the jewel of tourism in Lebanon, offering to its visitors qualified modern services in harmony with a fascinating nature. It creates a magical trip which enables to spend a day of wonder-filled adventure by being carried away from a tangible world to a wonderland where are found two fabulous grottoes full of unimaginable beauty of a magical fascination!

Then we will stop at a local restaurant in the region for lunch.

After lunch,
2nd stop: Byblos city: Located in North of Beirut, Byblos, also known as Jbeil, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Byblos is an important touristic site in Lebanon. It is listed as a World Heritage Site. The city is a stunning collection of archaeological sites, one of which is Byblos Castle built in 12th century by the Crusaders. Like all archeological sites in Lebanon, Byblos castle received a chain of culture and heritage. It is a great place to experience the various civilizations who passed through the city from the Phoenicians, to Assyriens, crusades and others. The castle is connected to a medieval harbor, and old souks, so you can get a multi-faceted experience and a taste of everything that Byblos has to offer.

Then we will get back to Beirut, and drop you off at your hotel.
